  5. Ask how you can help.
  6. Respect their boundaries.
  7. Be patient.
  8. Encourage self care activities.

Providing Emotional Support involves being a good listener showing empathy, validating emotions, offering encouragement and being patient and understanding.

It's important to create a safe and non judgemental space, respect boundaries and check in Regularly.

Remember to adapt your approach to suit individual needs and be there for your friend in their time to need.
